About CQ Gram

CQ Gram is a social platform designed for the amateur-radio community. It provides a place where operators, enthusiasts, clubs, and organizations may connect, share content, discuss amateur radio, showcase stations and equipment, publish photographs and videos, follow other users, and interact with posts.

CQ Gram is an independent platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any national amateur-radio society, licensing authority, regulator, callsign database, manufacturer, social-media platform, or award organization.

Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, accessing CQ Gram, publishing content, commenting, following users, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and Policies. If you do not agree, you should not use CQ Gram. Certain features may have additional rules that form part of these Terms where expressly stated.

Eligibility

Users must be legally permitted to use the Service and accept these Terms under applicable law. Where age restrictions or parental-consent requirements apply, users must satisfy those requirements. CQ Gram may establish additional age requirements for particular features where necessary for safety, privacy, or legal compliance.

Amateur-Radio Callsigns

Users may associate an amateur-radio callsign with their account. A user must not knowingly claim a callsign they do not own, control, or have authorization to represent. Special-event, club, expedition, contest, or shared callsigns may only be represented by appropriately authorized persons.

CQ Gram may request reasonable verification when callsign ownership is disputed, and may remove, modify, reserve, transfer, or restrict a callsign association where credible evidence shows it has been falsely claimed.

User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and credentials. Users must not:

  • impersonate another person or amateur-radio operator;
  • falsely claim another person’s callsign;
  • gain unauthorized access to another account;
  • share credentials for abusive purposes;
  • create accounts to evade enforcement;
  • use automated account creation for spam or manipulation; or
  • knowingly provide materially false verification information.

Platform Intellectual Property

CQ Gram’s original branding, software, interface, database structure, documentation, graphics, algorithms, designs, and logos belong to CQ Gram or its licensors. This does not include content owned by users or third parties. Users may use CQ Gram only through the rights provided by these Terms and applicable law.

Platform Availability

CQ Gram aims to provide a reliable Service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, software errors, infrastructure failures, security incidents, network problems, or force majeure. Features may evolve, change, or be discontinued.

Termination

Users may stop using CQ Gram at any time. CQ Gram may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated Terms violations, fraud, spam, security threats, copyright infringement, impersonation, harassment, illegal activity, evasion of enforcement, or legal requirements. Where appropriate, users may receive notice or an opportunity to appeal.

Changes, Severability & Entire Agreement

CQ Gram may modify these Terms to reflect new features, legal or security requirements, technical changes, community needs, or operational changes. Material updates will be communicated appropriately, and the latest policy will display its effective date.

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive later enforcement. These Terms, together with expressly incorporated policies, constitute the general agreement governing use of CQ Gram. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

Governing Law

The governing law and dispute-resolution provisions depend on the legal entity operating the Service and applicable mandatory laws. Until the operator’s legal entity and jurisdiction are formally established, this section does not designate a particular country. Nothing here removes mandatory rights under applicable consumer, privacy, or intellectual-property law.
