You Own Your Content
CQ Gram does not take ownership of your original content simply because you upload it. Subject to applicable law, users retain the copyright and ownership rights they already hold in their photographs, videos, artwork, text, and QSL designs. Uploading does not transfer ownership to CQ Gram.
License to CQ Gram
To operate a social platform, CQ Gram requires permission to technically process and display your content. By uploading, you grant CQ Gram a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, encode, resize, adapt, transmit, display, and process that content as reasonably necessary to operate CQ Gram, display your posts, generate previews, deliver content across devices, maintain backups, protect security, moderate content, and provide requested features.
You continue to own your content. This license does not give CQ Gram ownership. Subject to legal, safety, and backup requirements, the license for deleted content ends after it is permanently removed and backup-retention periods have expired.
Other Users Do Not Own Your Content
Publishing on CQ Gram does not transfer copyright to another user. Users should not download, reproduce, commercially exploit, or republish another user’s copyrighted material outside functionality intentionally provided by CQ Gram unless they have authorization or another lawful basis.
Copyright Policy & Complaints
Users must only upload material they own, are authorized to use, or otherwise have a lawful right to publish. The fact that material appears online does not make it free to use. Repeated infringement may result in account restrictions or termination.
A copyright owner or authorized representative may submit a complaint through Contact Us. A complaint should identify:
- the copyrighted work;
- the allegedly infringing material;
- where the material appears on CQ Gram;
- the basis of the claim;
- confirmation the complainant is the rights holder or authorized representative; and
- information reasonably necessary to investigate.
CQ Gram may restrict or remove disputed material while investigating. Knowingly submitting fraudulent copyright complaints is prohibited.
